As for writing your memoirs, go to it! Let the editors sort the legal things, you just get it written down whether it's published or not!

I'm a bit confused as to which club you mean.. Does your friend live in this area? if so where abouts...At the moment the crafting club is suspended as a few members had committments but we do meet in each others homes on a regular basis.
